A premise that sounds so preposterous turns out to be an absolutely amazing experience for all. My fiance hates westerns and dislikes sci-fi and yet she loves Firefly, a sci-fi western. Any geek who thinks themselves a geek and hasn't watched Firefly needs to have the geek card taken away.<br /> <br /> One of the most intriguing characters through out the series is Shepherd Book. A man of the cloth who obviously knows how to take care of himself in a rumble, he also seems able to command priority access to the Alliance. His story is left unresolved in both the series and the movie.
