There are very few problems in the world that can not be solved by the vigorous application of an iron bar.

To paraphrase Obi-Wan, a simple theory for a simple age.

The aim of the Iron Bar Theory blog is to talk about geek stuff. movies, games, books, RPGs, wargames or whatever tickles our fancy. The authors are four friends who have known each other since high school (and even earlier for some) who have moved on (or not) to a variety of "life stages" - yet are still geeks at heart (and likely always will be!):

• winter - Thats me. I'll be writing about wargaming, gaming, RPGs, movies and books, likely with a bit more on the wargaming as I'm currently the uber-nerd as the others would put it who enjoys painting little men and moving them around a table.


• sukoto - The technical genius behind the blog. I think he'll be writing about similar stuff to me, but no doubt far more proficiently and probably more cerebrally.


• matador - Joining us soon and probably the biggest proponent of the Theory at one time, he has since mellowed out (as have I somewhat) and I'm hoping he will be writing about geek stuff and the impact fatherhood has had on getting his geek on.


• bunnyman - It is very difficult to describe the bunnyman, a quiet, stoic figure and yet also mercurial and somewhat fragile. Perhaps he will join us and talk of the games of chance he is so fond of.
